When to go to the The Bahamas?
The Bahamas benefit from an excellent amount of sunshine all year round. In fact, even the winter days have a minimum of 7 hours of sunshine per day compared with 9 hours in spring and at the start of summer. Minimum temperatures are 60°F (during January) and maximum temperatures are 89°F in July and August. On the other hand, the Bahamas are subject to significant rainfall. Thus, from June to October it rains often but this heavy rain mainly falls during the night or towards the end of the day; you’ll therefore be able to spend your days on the beach without worrying. This period also ties in with the cyclone season, but these rarely affect the island. In order to avoid this evening rain, you will then have to stay between December and April but it is a bit cooler during this time.
