The most beautiful beaches
Vela beach
On the tip of Punta Ala, a real natural treasure with palm tree-lined sandy beaches, including the famous Vela beach and its turquoise waters. This location is exceptional with views of Elba island.
Forte dei Marmi beach
The most comfortable and luxurious beach in Tuscany, with deckchairs, shelters and wooden cabins. There are restaurants all along the beach and at nightfall the bars and nightclubs come into their own.
Castiglione della Pescaia beaches
Several beaches run along the seaside resort of Castiglione della Pescaia. They're perfect for a family day out with a host of different water activities available.
Beaches between Torre del Lago and Viarregio
A huge stretch of sand connecting Torre del Lago and Viarregio, offering family beaches with all modern comforts (sunbeds, parasols, showers ...) and some wilder beaches off the beaten track. This is where the famous Lecciona beach can be found.
Elba Island beaches
Elba island is a vertitable paradise, offering visitors a wide choice of sandy and pebble beaches as well as hidden coves. You can choose to set your towel down on the white sandy beach of Cavoli, part of which is equipped, Biodola (ideal for diving) or Capo Bianco. If you prefer pebbles, you'll just love Sansone beach with its nearby cliffs where you can go kayaking.
Cala Violina
One of the most beautiful beaches in Tuscany and deservedly so since it's only accessible after a half an hour walk. It may not be ideal if you have young children. The water is clear and the beach very pleasant.
